This privacy notice explains how Sizewell C collects and uses your personal data for the purpose of delivering the Young SZC programme. Young SZC is an exclusive programme for young people aged 21 years old and under. Please note that this privacy notice mainly focuses on young people aged 16 and upwards. This is because only those who are 16 or above are allowed to sign up to our mailing list. It also provides information to anyone who visits this website, which may include people younger than 16.

Sizewell C will collect and use your personal data through this website in accordance with its general Privacy Policy, which can be found here.

What personal data do we collect, from who, and why?

When you visit the Young SZC website or complete the Young SZC mailing list form, we will collect and process the following categories of personal data for the following reasons:

People who complete the Young SZC mailing list form (16 years old or above)
We also collect the names, contact details and marketing preferences of people who sign up to our mailing list. Where people sign up to our mailing list or otherwise agree to receive marketing communications from us, we may use their personal data to share updates about our progress and/or to market events organised or supported by Sizewell C. Where we process this information for these purposes we do so on the basis that you have consented.

Where we rely on consent to process your personal data you can withdraw this consent at any time by un-subscribing via the link in any emails you receive from us, rejecting cookies through the cookies banner or your browser settings, or requesting a change by sending an email to dpo@sizewellc.com or a letter to 25 Copthall Avenue, London, EC2R 7BP.

How long do we keep your personal data?

We will only keep your personal data for 18 months, unless we otherwise notify you where we need this personal data for a longer period to deliver the Young SZC programme to you.
